1Septembr 28th, 2013 - After being delayed a week by rain the annual All American 50 was held at Jackson Motor Speedway (Byram, Mississippi) on Saturday night. The $5,000-to-win event drew a field of 35 entries to the 1/4 mile oval.

Via preliminary action Ray earned the 20th starting spot for the feature event, and would advance a few spots early in the finale before making the decision to retire early in the race to a 20th place finish to save his equipment.

1September 7th , 2013 - Ray Moore entered the 41st Annual Louisiana Dirt Track Championship at Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, Louisiana) over the weekend.

The $4,000-to-win event drew 18 entries to the 3/8 mile oval, and via double heat races on Friday night Ray earned the 2nd most points to earn a spot in the redraw on Saturday evening. In the redraw he was the recipient of the pole position, and had high hopes for the big win, but a tangle with another car would bring his weekend to a disappointing early end.

1September 1st, 2013 - After a few weeks away from the track Ray Moore returned to competition on Friday night with a $2,000-to-win, P&W Sales Southern United Professional Racers (SUPR) event at Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, Louisiana).

Twenty-five entries took to the 3/8 mile oval, and Ray started his night by advancing from the 5th starting spot to a 2nd place finish, which positioned him 5th on the grid for the finale. Throughout the feature Ray contended in the top five before crossing the finish line behind race winner, Patrik Daniel, Kevin Sitton, Rob Litton, and Shane Hebert.

Sunday night found Ray competing at the familiar confines of Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) in another P&W Sales SUPR event at the 1/4 mile oval. Twenty-seven entries took to the oval for the race, and Moore started his outing by powering to the win in his heat race from the 2nd starting spot to lock into the 3rd starting spot for the 50 lap finale. In the main event Moore battled in the top five throughout the race before crossing the finish line in the 4th position behind race winner, Clay Fisher, Kyle Beard, and Shane Hebert.
