March 9th, 2013 - The team made the short trip to Ark-La-Tex Speedway (Vivian, Louisiana) over the weekend for the 3rd Annual Pelican 100, which posted a $10,000 top prize. Moore, who is a former champion, of the event went into battle against forty-seven competitors, and in heat race action on Friday night fell just short of locking into the feature event, and as a result was forced to run a b-main on Saturday night. A fourth place finish in his b-main transferred Moore to the feature, where he started nineteenth on the grid. March 2nd, 2013 - Ray Moore opened his 2013 season on Saturday in his #93 MB2 Customs/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model at The Dirt Track at Texas Motor Speedway (Justin, Texas). The $3,500-to-win event, which was held as part of the annual Port-A-Cool Texas World Dirt Track Championship was sanctioned by the P&W Sales Southern United Professional Racers (SUPR) tour. With thirty-nine entries in the pits Ray started his outing by advancing from the fourth starting spot in his heat to claim the win, which locked him into the fourth starting spot for the feature.
