June 14th, 2014 - Ray Moore took part in a pair of P&W Sales Southern United Professional Racers (SUPR) Super Late Model events over the weekend at Battlground Speedway (Highlands, Texas).
Action opened on Friday night with a $1,000-to-win program, which drew a field of nineteen entries to the clay oval. Ray started his night with a third place finish in heat race action, which positioned him starting ninth in the feature. Moore battled just inside the top ten throughout much of the event before registering a tenth place finish at the checkered flag.
Saturday evening saw the winner's purse increase to $2,000, as twenty entries registered for battle. In a preliminary action, a heat race win earn Moore the outside pole position for the 40 lap feature alongside Rob Litton. During the course of the main event Ray battled at the front of the pack before ultimately crossing the finish line in third behind race winner, Patrik Daniel, and Rob Litton.
