January 17th, 2016 - For the third night of action in the Wild West Shootout, Ray Moore recorded a 5th place finish in his heat from a 7th place starting spot transferring him into the B-Main. Transferring the top three into the feature, Moore edged his way into the $5,000-to-win A-Main event with a 3rd place outing. Starting on the tail for the 30-lapper, Ray gained four spots logging a 21st place finish.  

On Friday night in a field of sixty Super Late Models, Ray Moore held his 2nd place starting spot for his heat transferring him into the B-Main. Needing a 3rd place finish or better to make the feature, Moore logged a 6th place finish.

Starting on the 4th row of his heat on Saturday night, Ray registered a 8th place outing transferring him into the 12-lap B-Main. Gaining four spots, Moore came up two positions short of a transfer position retiring a 5th place finish.

For the final night of action in the Wild West Shootout on Sunday night, Ray Moore notched a 3rd place finish in his heat sending him into the B-Main. Transferring the top three into the $11,000-to-win feature, Ray came up two spots shorts again with a 5th place outing.

January 10th, 2016 - Making the trip to USA Raceway (Tucson, Arizona) on Saturday for the 10th Annual Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout, Ray Moore was one of sixty Super Late Models signed in for the six-day unsanctioned event. Starting in 4th for his heat, Moore improved two spots scoring a runner-up finish behind Chris Simpson. Transferring into the feature with a 5th row starting position, Ray fell twelve spots in the 30-lap A-Main retiring a 21st place finish. (Tom Macht Photo)

The following night in a field of fifty-seven entries, Moore was slated to start on the pole for his heat. After jumping the cushion, Ray fell back to a 7th place finish transferring him into the B-Main. Needing a 3rd place finish or better to make the show, Ray Moore decided to save equipment and failed to make it out for the consolation event.
